The speaker reviews the main types of bias that can potentially influence our thinking about who is and is not a candidate for a hearing aid. Summary: Dynamic assessment - an alternative to standardized testing that accounts for individuals' unique cultural and linguistic identities - helps SLPs identify disorder within linguistic variability.
