Summary: Infants, children, and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) vary greatly in their needs, as the core challenges differ depending upon developmental level, family and child preferences, and more. However, this "one-size-fits-all" approach can yield results that do not account for the impact of speech-sound disorders on other aspects of academic performance.
