Summary: This course explores the use of oral motor exercise in the treatment of children with resonance and/or compensatory speech errors. Summary: Writing meaningful social communication goals can be difficult, but using a strengths-based framework can make it a bit easier. In this course – which is broken into six 5-minute activities – the presenter will utilize a goals rubric to help school SLPs write meaningful and measurable social communication goals that support independence and engagement as long-term objectives. Summary: Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a confounding pediatric communication disorder. Rarely occurring in isolation, changing over time, and always requiring specialized care, the breadth and depth of understanding required for appropriate treatment is vast.
