Summary: This session provides resources and strategies for developing a stigma-free atmosphere within educational and therapeutic environments for children with a history of opioid exposure. Summary: Published research indicates that outcomes in children with hearing loss are generally lower than their hearing counterparts. Given the cascading effects auditory deprivation and language delays may cause in children, providing differential diagnoses can present a challenge. This course identifies commonly occurring comorbid presentations in children with hearing loss and describes the process of making differential diagnoses.

Summary: As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, access to our patients for in-person treatment may be limited and our ability to develop a relationship with patients/caregivers may have taken a toll due to facility protocols to protect against the spread of infection.
