Summary: Inclusion and reporting of clinical research participants from all backgrounds is the cornerstone to developing representative screening, assessment, and treatment models. Summary: While clinicians may know the fundamentals of evidence-based practice (EBP), many struggle to implement EBP in real-world situations with their clients. Often, this is due to limited research, a lack of high-quality research, or the absence of a clear takeaway from external scientific literature. In this course, participants will learn more about these obstacles and strategies to overcome them. Learning how to navigate these barriers will assist clinicians in making patient-centered and evidence-based clinical decisions. Summary: This session describes the value of interprofessional practice (IPP) on a pediatric FEES (flexible [or fiberoptic] endoscopic evaluation of swallowing) team.
