This session will review recent literature and provide examples of assistive technologies (AT)—including those that are visually based, auditory-based, or a combination—and resources that can be used with students with (C)APDs. Summary: Aging produces predictable and specific changes to the human respiratory and digestive systems and predisposes older people to more severe effects of—and more protracted limitations secondary to—diseases and surgical procedures.
