Summary: This session reviews the neuroscience and evidence-based practices that are essential considerations for creating learning environments that enhance active engagement for pre-symbolic autistic children. Summary: Neurodivergent SLPs (including those with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, autism, etc.) have unique insights and expertise, making them invaluable assets for fostering client-centered care within speech-language pathology practice. In this session, three neurodivergent SLPs who started their own private practices due to lack of supportive and accessible options discuss employment and supervision barriers. They share systemic and individualistic shifts to support neurodivergent SLPs.

Summary: TMPRSS3 is a genetic variant associated with either progressive or congenital bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Through case studies, this live webinar (June 5, 2024, 2-3 p.m. ET) will address multidisciplinary management spanning from diagnosis of hearing loss to cochlear implantation. The presenters will share relevant education for professionals working with children with hearing loss.
