Summary: A culturally responsive approach to support clients and families from all backgrounds begins with understanding and meeting them where they are. Summary: This session describes the value of interprofessional practice (IPP) on a pediatric FEES (flexible [or fiberoptic] endoscopic evaluation of swallowing) team. The presenter shares FEES case studies that illustrate this collaborative model for dysphagia management; describes the successes and challenges encountered by the IPP team during pediatric FEES; and reviews current FEES literature in the pediatric population.
