Summary: This session will examine the diagnosis and treatment of persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD). The session will explore the recently defined criteria for the presentation and symptoms of the disorder as well as describe current and emerging research that is helping clinicians and researchers better understand it. Summary: Audiologists help to diagnose or rule out vestibular disorders and make recommendations for referrals and treatment. As part of treatment, quality of life must be discussed. Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has turned our personal and professional worlds upside down. Yet, something positive can come from this pandemic if we see this challenge as an opportunity to re-examine what and how we practice. Summary: It is commonly understood that better outcomes for management and treatment of hearing loss can be linked to greater knowledge and acceptance of the condition by the patient/client/student and their family. This presentation discusses the need and development of an accessible and neutral site where individuals and their families can access diverse information and a variety of literature around topics related to hearing loss. It will also cover the steps for the development of a cultural and informational center, including tips on fundraising and overall management.
