Summary: This recorded session from the ASHA Audiology 2022 Online Conference provides a comprehensive overview of today's modern and highly sensitive neurodiagnostic vestibular tests, including rotary chair, cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP), and video Head Impulse Testing (vHIT), as well as postural stability assessments. This session reviews ethical principles associated with due process and the legal responsibilities associated with being a witness in a due process hearing. The speaker shares strategies for preventing and resolving disputes and representing ourselves, our students, and our profession equitably when called into a hearing.
