Summary: This session discusses how initiating speech-language pathology services at the onset of illness can ensure patient-centered care and result in better post-ICU outcomes. Summary: Medicare beneficiaries are an important patient population to consider when developing a business model, and SLPs in private practice need to know how to enroll in and bill Medicare to ensure they are compliant with federal law.
