Summary: Audiologists and SLPs encounter individuals of all ages with varying degrees of hearing loss, many of whom utilize or could benefit from cochlear implants (CI). CI technology has evolved drastically over the past 40 years. Summary: This course focuses on social-emotional learning milestones and current trends in research regarding social-emotional learning for children who are deaf or hard of hearing relative to peers with typical hearing.
