Summary: This on demand webinar presents a framework for assisting teens and adults in the design and implementation of stuttering intervention. Summary: Conversion disorder, also commonly known as functional neurological symptom disorder, is a complex and often misunderstood condition that can affect an individual’s communication, cognition, and movement. This webinar will explore all aspects of the psychological disorder, including etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and related issues to inform the SLP’s assessment and treatment of the disorder. The speaker will also discuss the SLP’s role specifically in working with children and teens with the disorder as they complete treatment and return to school.
