Summary: In the era of COVID-19, clinicians in health care settings have faced challenges in the evaluation and treatment of a new patient population - those who have had COVID-19 - requiring us to reframe our current treatment techniques. This session focuses on reinventing the speech-language pathologist's approach to treatment of respiratory activity tolerance for motor speech. It addresses collaboration with physical and occupational therapists for incorporation of dual motor tasks with more traditional treatment. Summary: Neurodivergent SLPs (including those with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, autism, etc.) have unique insights and expertise, making them invaluable assets for fostering client-centered care within speech-language pathology practice. Summary: The lived experiences of neurodivergent adolescents and adults reveal that changes are needed in how SLPs approach social communication assessment and intervention. Client-centered protocols for assessing social communication must address two goals: the needs of the student, and the perspectives and behaviors of the student's peers that support or hinder social interactions.
