Summary: This session explores how to properly assess the speech mechanism for underlying structural/functional deficits that could impede progress in treatment. Summary: Students who are deaf or hard of hearing are a diverse population of individuals who may use various languages, communication modalities, and technologies. Often, SLPs do not have in-depth training to confidently work with these students.
