Summary: This session describes predictors of hearing aid use time for adolescents who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) as well as activities that target self-advocacy in this population. Summary: In this course, the presenter discusses logical fallacies that commonly occur in spoken and written discourse and the social implications of passively accepting biased, illogical, and inaccurate statements. The presenter explains how SLPs can assist adolescents to deconstruct logical fallacies while addressing students' skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and reasoning.
