Summary: This recorded session from the ASHA Audiology 2022 Online Conference provides a comprehensive overview of today's modern and highly sensitive neurodiagnostic vestibular tests, including rotary chair, cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP), and video Head Impulse Testing (vHIT), as well as postural stability assessments. The presenters discuss how integrating these tests creates a diagnosis-based strategy that provides the team of diagnostic and rehabilitation professionals with direction and guidance as to the best vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) strategies for the individual patient. The session includes video examples of the range of VRT strategies, including adaptation and habituation.

Articles examine the effectiveness of telepractice delivery of three types of aphasia treatment: conversation group treatment, Combined Aphasia and Apraxia of Speech Treatment, and Sound Production Treatment. Summary: This session describes the social determinants of health-defined by the World Health Organization as the conditions under which people live, work, learn, and play-and explains how patients' health and well-being can be viewed as a socially constructed phenomenon. The session explores the role of systems of oppression and location of position in generating health inequities and uses current evidence about the interplay between the COVID-19 pandemic and the social determinants of health to help participants develop strategies to intervene to improve their patients' quality of life and promote health equity.
