Course Description


This course presents a methodology that allows audiologists to provide (central) auditory processing testing remotely. The course discusses the advantages, disadvantages, and pitfalls of remote testing as well as technology and other requirements.

The course is one in a set of practical programs that address specific aspects of remote practice in audiology.

Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:

  • Set up a computer to accommodate dual track stimuli presentation for dichotic testing and other testing in the central auditory processing test battery
  • Compare the advantages and disadvantages of remote testing for central auditory processing
  • Evaluate which instruments are most conducive to making central auditory processing remote testing viable
