Course Description


These Perspectives (SIG 18) articles present information on various aspects of telepractice, including ethics and telepractice, a guide for establishing remote services in private practice, and a systematic review of telepractice for adult speech-language pathology services.

Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:

  • evaluate ethical scenarios to determine whether subjects have practiced in a lawful manner, employed ethical communication, and upheld the well-being of the client
  • describe clinical, technical, and business considerations required to establish an effective telepractice
  • list speech-language therapeutic techniques for adults that have recently been investigated in the telepractice literature
