Overcoming Challenges in Pediatric & Adult Cochlear Implant Users With Exceptionalities (WEB19842)
Children and adults who use cochlear implants and have additional exceptionalities present challenges in diagnostic testing and therapeutic intervention for speech-language pathologists and audiologists. This session reviews current research on communication and quality of life in this population, while also highlighting real-world clinical practices in assessing, treating, and defining success in these patients.
