ASHA Learning Pass

Drawing on key findings from learning science and andragogy, this course explores how motivation influences adult learning. It covers the value of tapping into intrinsic (internal) motivation, the relationship between motivation and mindset, and the role of a growth mindset when you encounter challenges or difficulties.

Presenter Information

Celisa Steele, MA, has spent more than two decades designing, developing, delivering, and marketing adult lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development programs. She’s worked with and for organizations ranging from smaller groups like the Frameworks Institute and the Alliance of Chicago Community Health Services to large national and multinational organizations like the American Red Cross, American College of Radiology, and Society for Human Resource Management.
