Description:
Audiology and speech-language pathology clinicians and students with disabilities have lived experiences that shape their perspectives as current and future professionals. Part of the role of the supervisor/clinical educator is to learn, listen, and empower. This webinar will help supervisors learn new approaches; unlearn outdated approaches; and reflect on implicit biases, including internalized and implicit ableism. The speaker will explore how supervisors/clinical educators can recognize the individual needs of clinicians/students with disabilities and create an affirming and productive clinical/educational environment.
