This course focuses on managing feeding difficulties in young children ages 1-6 years. The presenter discusses and demonstrates assessment tools as well as intervention approaches, highlighting evidence-based techniques.

You will be able to:

  • list five key areas that should be evaluated when assessing a child in an outpatient feeding clinic
  • describe the difference between feeding treatment approaches based on operant condition and systematic desensitization
  • list five key factors that should be discussed with families when determining which feeding treatment approach to use with children who demonstrate behavioral feeding difficulties
