Presenter Information
Monica Allgauer, AuD, CCC-A (she/her/hers) launched Rocket Hearing & Balance to provide specialized care for individuals experiencing symptoms of dizziness and imbalance, a previously under-served group of people equally deserving of quality care. The portfolio of hearing services has since expanded to include comprehensive hearing evaluation, hearing aid services, cochlear implant care, and occupational hearing hygiene services. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology and Master of Science in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Dr. Allgauer is a Preferred Provider, certified by the American Institute of Balance. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She holds state licensures in Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Allgauer is bilingual and offers services in English and American Sign Language.
