Presenter Information
Meagan Bachmann, AuD, MHL, is the director of audiology for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where her areas of clinical focus and interest include cochlear implants, promoting evidence-based practice, collaborative culture, and professional issues. Dr. Bachmann received her AuD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Cochlear Implant Specialty Certification from the American Board of Audiology. More recently, she completed a master’s in health care leadership from the School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. Dr. Bachmann has had many previous state and national service positions including serving as a founding member of the North Carolina Audiology Association, president of the North Carolina Audiology Association, and conference chair for both the NC Audiology Association and NC Speech Language Hearing Association. She is a past chair of the American Board of Audiology Board of Governors. Dr. Bachmann is a member of the Hearing Healthcare Collaborative, a national group of hearing-related professionals dedicated to thinking through the tough issues that create barriers to care.
