How to Make Classroom-Based Service Delivery Work for You and Your Students (PD102564)
This session shares easy-to-implement strategies for more diverse service delivery models, including classroom-based services. The speaker explores flexible scheduling examples, using the curriculum to target speech and language targets, and the art of collecting authentic data in integrated settings. Participants will leave this session with "use tomorrow" strategies as well as the confidence to make classroom-based service delivery work for clinicians and students.

Presenter Information
Christina Bradburn, MS, CCC-SLP, works as a public school speech-language pathologist and educational diagnostician in Indiana. Along with currently pursuing her PhD from Texas Woman’s University, she is a national seminar leader for the Bureau of Education and Research, speaking on the topic of integrating speech and language interventions into classrooms and curriculum using a workload approach. She is the past Vice-President of Speech Language Pathology for the Indiana Speech Language and Hearing Association and is chair of the ASHA School-Issues Advisory Board as the representative from the ASHA Leadership Development Program, which she completed in 2016. She was part of the inaugural group of mentors for the ASHA Leadership Mentoring program in 2018. Her research interests include classroom-based intervention in the schools, classroom teacher impact on treatment effectiveness, and using flexible service delivery models to meet student needs.
