Presenter Information

A.U. Bankaitis, PhD, is a recognized resource to the hearing industry who delivers technical information in a straightforward manner. Her strong clinical background along with her business competencies in strategic development and implementation allow her to offer practical solutions to providers and business owners. She earned a PhD from the University of Cincinnati, where her funded research on HIV led to a niche expertise on infection control very early on in her career. Dr. Bankaitis has worked with numerous providers and organizations to expand their clinical services to include cerumen management and hearing assistance technology. Most recently, she was awarded the prestigious Samuel F. Lybarger Industry Award by the American Academy of Audiology for her research, engineering, and technological achievements within the field of audiology.
