Summary: The focus on technology during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in turn, the lessening of in-person interactions, calls for attention to social-emotional learning (SEL) as well as academics. Summary: This course explores factors that contribute to health inequities for individuals who report a hearing loss. Individuals with hearing loss report miscommunication, inaccessible health information, reduced awareness by health care providers, and low patient satisfaction while struggling with inadequate health literacy.
