Summary: This session gives professionals a “behind-the-curtain” view of what goes on during a cochlear implant programming appointment to inform their work with children and adults who use these devices. This perspective should be particularly useful when it comes to the management of the hearing aid on the contralateral ear as well as the management of rehabilitative and therapeutic needs. Summary: This session will examine the diagnosis and treatment of persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD). The session will explore the recently defined criteria for the presentation and symptoms of the disorder as well as describe current and emerging research that is helping clinicians and researchers better understand it.
