Summary: The evaluation and non-medical management of balance disorders in children and adults is an exciting and growing opportunity for audiologists to participate in this important aspect of health care services. This presentation highlights the most common conditions throughout the life span from neonate to geriatric and includes an evidence-based clinical pathway model of gold-standard evaluation protocols and management strategies. It includes information about clinically available devices, guidelines related to non-surgical and surgical options, and pediatric and adult case studies.
