Summary: This session explores the challenges that college students face after brain injury. The speaker discusses a coaching approach that is “least restrictive” yet supports and instructs students in self-regulation. The speaker also shares practical, metacognitive strategies and tools that support students’ executive functions so they can meet academic and social goals. Summary: This session discusses a study that examined the feasibility of telehealth administration of narrative and procedural discourse tasks to individuals with TBI and matched controls. Results support the feasibility of collecting discourse samples via telehealth. Although the participants' discourse performance distinguished the TBI and control groups on the narrative task, no differences between the groups were noted for the procedural task.

Summary: This presentation addresses the underlying neuropathology of ataxia, dysarthria-specific assessment and treatment for degenerative ataxias, and the importance of cognitive assessment and treatment.
