Summary: This session will examine the diagnosis and treatment of persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD). The session will explore the recently defined criteria for the presentation and symptoms of the disorder as well as describe current and emerging research that is helping clinicians and researchers better understand it. Summary: This course explores the most commonly fit devices for patients whose hearing is significantly poorer in one ear than the other (e.g., single-sided deafness or asymmetric hearing loss) and identify factors that impact device selection and hearing management. Summary: No national or international consensus exists on the delivery of care specific to pre-operative and post-operative audiologic cochlear implant evaluation and management. As such, decision-making regarding testing methods is largely made by the professional judgement of the clinician, which can bring with it discrepancies in testing that lead to inconsistent access to cochlear implants. This session discusses these discrepancies and provides a set of guidelines clinicians can use to refer patients for a cochlear implant evaluation.
