Summary: Given the complexity and variability of speech sound disorders (SSD) in children, along with the large number of intervention approaches from which to choose, the volume of information can be overwhelming. Summary: Language assessment in children who are deaf or hard of hearing often focuses on language outcomes without a precise characterization of the child's language learning history.
