Summary: This course explores factors that contribute to health inequities for individuals who report a hearing loss. Individuals with hearing loss report miscommunication, inaccessible health information, reduced awareness by health care providers, and low patient satisfaction while struggling with inadequate health literacy. The course discusses ideas for rethinking and redesigning our health care, through the guidance of innovative clinics and programs, to address these inequities and care for these individuals effectively.

Summary: This session discusses a project that established a cross-sector national consortium of self-advocates with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), family advocates, community providers, and health care professionals. Summary: This on demand webinar presents a framework for assisting teens and adults in the design and implementation of stuttering intervention. The course is based on the concept that meaningful stuttering intervention and outcomes are based in the client's and clinician's shared understanding of the importance and weight that the client places on changing the physical attributes of stuttering, their thoughts and feelings about it, their use of avoidance strategies, and how ready they are to change one or all of these components.
