Summary: The presenters discuss their work on optical imaging of the inner ear to enable progress in understanding, diagnosing, and treating human sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). Summary: This course describes the various ways that a head and neck cancer diagnosis can impact mental health, and ways to identify when a patient may need to seek professional help from a mental health specialist. For example, a considerable body of research has demonstrated the efficiency of individual central auditory tests and test batteries based on performance of individuals – including children – with confirmed CANS lesions.
