Summary: Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how we perceive and express ourselves and develop and maintain social relationships. Research suggests that professionals interested in advancing into leadership roles are well served by enhancing their emotional intelligence. Summary: This journal self-study course highlights the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on people with aphasia, patients with cognitive communication impairments, and patient-provider communication.
