Summary: This session explores how hearing level, device use, and room acoustics alter the potential for children who are Deaf or hard of hearing to have auditory access to classroom instruction. The speaker focuses on how access to instruction for children who are who are Deaf or hard of hearing changes with social distancing and mask-wearing and shares creative solutions to real-life barriers to implementing strategies that improve communication.
