Summary: This session will address nonventilated and ventilated speaking valve use, patient candidacy, and evidence-based SLP interventions for caring for patients with tracheostomies. This session will review the essential knowledge necessary for the SLP to perform as a critically thinking clinician when it comes to management of airway disorders.
