Using case scenarios and
speech samples, this session—a
recorded session from ASHA’s 2020 Schools Connect conference—guides SLPs
through designing an efficient, effective, and evidence-based treatment plan
for a student with a speech sound disorder. The speaker translates nine
concepts from current research into practical strategies for selecting
treatment targets, selecting treatment approaches, eliciting more accurate
productions, and improving automaticity and generalization.
